Margaree River Fly Fishing Specialists is a small family owned business. We are avid fly fishers and when you buy our products you are buying from people who use the equipment.
Edwin and Sandra are the owners of Margaree River Fly Fishing Specialists.

Edwin has been fly fishing for over 30 years. He has guided on the Margaree River for Atlantic Salmon and the Bow River for trout. Edwin has been on the board of directors of the Margaree Salmon Association and the chairman of the Margaree Salmon Association Banquet and Auction. Edwin has also been involved in the River Watch Program to help prevent poaching. He also a member of the Sam Livingston Volunteer Society in Calgary. Edwin is also a free lance writer and has articles published in magazines such as the American Angler. He has also written, performed and produced a video, “Atlantic Salmon—The Margaree River.” Some of his patterns can be found in such books as "Shrimp and Spey Flies for Salmon and Steelhead" by Mann and Gillespie and "Modern Salmon Flies" by Paul Marriner.

Sandra is somewhat new to fly fishing. She first lifted a fly rod to cast over fish in the summer of 2005, shortly before going to Nova Scotia. She is now an avid fly fisher and comtinues to learn and improve. To date she has caught and released speckled, cutthroat and rainbow trout. Sandra is attending courses in business administration at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. This is to help have Margaree River Fly Fishing Specialists run as smoothly as possible. Sandra is also the main force in a new and exciting business endevour, Meadows-Taylor Photography. Hopefully you will see one of her pics on the cover of a magazine some day.
